Analog Draw Wire Sensor — Up to 5,000 mm, Multi-Output
The AWP 905 is a draw wire position transducer available in three stroke options up to 5,000 mm. Multiple output types including potentiometric, voltage, current, and CANopen allow integration into any control system. Suitable for medium to long range position feedback in industrial machinery.
Three stroke options — 2,500 mm, 4,000 mm, and 5,000 mm to match the application
Multi-output flexibility — potentiometric, 0–10 VDC, 4–20 mA, and CANopen available
Stainless steel measuring wire — corrosion resistant, high tensile strength
Aluminium housing — robust and lightweight for machine mounting
Easy installation — cable or M12 connector options available
Industrial duty — suitable for continuous use in factory automation
| Stroke Options | 0–2,500 mm / 0–4,000 mm / 0–5,000 mm |
| Measuring Type | Potentiometric |
| Output | Potentiometric, 0–10 VDC, 4–20 mA, CANopen |
| Measuring Wire | Stainless steel |
| Body Material | Aluminium |
| Operating Temperature | −25°C to +85°C |
| Potentiometric | Resistive output proportional to position |
| 0–10 VDC | Voltage output proportional to stroke position |
| 4–20 mA | Current loop output, noise-immune over long cable runs |
| CANopen | Fieldbus digital output per CiA 406 profile |
Choose the output type to match your PLC input card. The 4–20 mA current loop is recommended for long cable runs or electrically noisy environments. CANopen connects directly to the machine fieldbus.
