Overview

The ARX B 58 is a semi-hollow incremental encoder in a 58 mm body accepting shafts from 6 to 20 mm — the largest bore range in the ARX family. Available in optical (up to 20,000 PPR) or magnetic variants, it is designed for heavier-duty applications where larger shaft diameters are common. The magnetic variant offers reliable performance in dusty or contaminated environments.

Ordering note: ARX models combine two measurement families — specify optical (ARC) for maximum resolution and precision, or magnetic (ARS) for immunity to dust, oil, and condensation in harsh environments.
