Semi-Hollow Shaft, 50 mm Body — Optical or Magnetic
The ARX B 50 is a semi-hollow shaft incremental rotary encoder in a 50 mm body, available with either optical or magnetic measurement depending on the application environment. The optical variant delivers up to 20,000 PPR for high-precision applications, while the magnetic variant (1–1,024 PPR) provides robust operation in contaminated environments. The semi-hollow design accepts shaft diameters from 6 to 12 mm for direct mounting without couplings.
Ordering note: ARX models combine two measurement families — specify optical (ARC) for maximum resolution and precision, or magnetic (ARS) for immunity to dust, oil, and condensation in harsh environments.
