Overview

The SAS 37 is a single-turn absolute rotary encoder using magnetic measurement. Unlike incremental encoders, it retains position data through power outages - no homing required on restart. Available in shaft, semi-hollow shaft, and sleeved versions for maximum mounting flexibility.

Absolute position memory - retains data through power loss, no re-homing required

14-bit angular resolution - 16,384 positions per revolution

IP67 protection - submersible to 1 m depth, fully dust-tight

Magnetic measurement - immune to dust, oil, and moderate vibration

Programmable - user-selectable output range and direction

Multiple variants - shaft (SAS-S), semi-hollow (SAS-B), sleeved (SAS-K)
